What we do

Every kind of return, all year round, explained in plain English before you sign anything.

For your business

Self-employed & rideshare

Our specialty. Sole proprietor, contractor, or driving for an app, we file your return, claim what you're owed, and make sense of the numbers.

Corporate (T2) returns

Full corporate returns for incorporated small businesses, with the price agreed before we start.

Bookkeeping

QuickBooks-certified bookkeeping that keeps your records clean all year. A favourite with start-ups.

GST/HST filing

We file it alongside your return, included in the self-employed price, not an extra.

For you and your family

Personal returns

T4s, tuition, RRSPs, medical, donations, pension splitting, we check every credit you're entitled to.

Rental income

Own a rental? We handle the income, the expenses, and the depreciation rules that trip people up.

Newcomers to Canada

Your first Canadian return, at the price of a regular one, with clear explanations of benefits such as the CCB and Trillium.

Quebec (TP-1) returns

Moved from Quebec or still file there? We've got your back. Service disponible en français.

When it's complicated

Back taxes & CRA letters

Years behind? No judgment. We file what's owing and talk to CRA for you, so it stops hanging over you.

Estate & final returns

A final return for someone you've lost, handled with care and patience.

Questions people ask

What do I need to bring?

Please bring government-issued photo ID and your SIN.

If you are a new customer and do not have access to your CRA My Account, please bring a copy of last year's Notice of Assessment or last year's tax return.

If that's not working well, give me a call and I'll get it sorted for you.

If you are self-employed or a rideshare driver, please contact me for a more exact list of what to bring.

Here is a list of the most common items:

Can you file the previous years?

Absolutely. We can file up to 10 years back and can do this at any time during the year. This is more common than you may think and may also be much easier than you think. I have done this many times. You will still be entitled to GST, Trillium and Climate Action Incentive payments from previous years, based on the eligibility criteria in place at the time.

What does audit protection actually cover?

Audit protection means I will deal with the CRA on your behalf, at no extra charge, should you be audited or receive a letter of review or request for documents.

Do I have to come to the office?

No, I offer video-call appointments as well.

Do you file Quebec returns?

Yes, we have lots of experience filing Quebec returns. If you've moved to Ontario but were a resident of Quebec as of December 31 of the tax year, you will have to file a Quebec return. If you moved here before December 31, you will file an Ontario return.
